Plate Details

WE55 COR is a current-style registration issued in September 2005. Current style plates use a two-letter area code, a two-digit year code (55), and a three-letter random sequence. The 55 area code identifies it as originating from the Exeter DVLA office, covering South West England. Under DVLA rules, this plate can be assigned to any vehicle first registered on or after September 2005 — it cannot make a vehicle appear newer than it actually is.

Investment & Value

WE55 COR is a current-style registration. While the current format is still issued, specific combinations with strong personal associations — particularly short, meaningful initials — command significant premiums on the secondary market. Personalised number plates are a tangible, portable asset. Unlike most purchases, a desirable plate retains and can appreciate in value over time. NewReg has been trading since 1989 and can advise on valuation — call 01772 566400.

Personalised number plates have a strong track record as alternative investments. WE55 COR is a Current style registration — plates at this price point reflect genuine collector demand and limited availability. Plates are not a guaranteed investment — values depend on demand, plate format, and letter combination.
